Everfresh Processing Ltd. is looking for a Head Butcher to work with our team. Title: Head Butcher – wholesale Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time) Salary: CAD 37.00 – CAD 39.00 per hour, At least 30 hours per week Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental benefits after 6 months Location: #118-6951 72nd Street, Delta, British Columbia, V4G 0A2 Requirements: • Completion of secondary school • 2-3 years of work experience as a butcher Main Duties: • Process specific or regular portions of beef, fowl and seafood for retail displays or individual client requests. • Arrange meat products for unique presentations or distribution purposes. • Secure and form various roasts and proteins using netting or string, including the wrapping of fresh or chilled items. • Oversee stock levels and sales data to decide on the necessary volume and variety of goods while ensuring peak quality. • Comply with all federal inspection guidelines and internal safety protocols to maintain high food standards. • Monitor storage areas to guarantee that all perishable goods are kept in optimal environments. • Lead or instruct other butchers and apprentices in the proper techniques of the trade.
