Job details Location: Mississauga, ON L5T 2K8 Work location: On site Salary: 36.10 hourly/35 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time: Morning, Day, Weekend Starts: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities/Tasks 1. Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts 2. Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly 3. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables 4. Repair machine tools and parts 5. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools 6. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance 7. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments 8. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances 9. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports 10. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) 11. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools 12.
