Deltason Trading Ltd. is a seafood and produce importer and distributor in Richmond, BC. Our company was established in 1998 with a dream of bringing in fresh and high-quality Asian ingredients to the increasingly diverse population of Canada. Since 2000, our company has expanded its range of products, by introducing even more fresh produce from Asian, such as fragrant pears, Asian pears, dragon fruit, longan, lychee, as well as many other vegetables. In conjunction with the rise of food service businesses, our company has started a food processing division in 2015, aiming to provide top restaurant-quality foods for our customers to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes. These products include dim sum, meat products, prepackaged sauces, and pre-cut vegetables. To continue serving our clients better, we are now looking for an more food processing labourer to help us grow our company. Job Title: Labourers in food processing (NOC 95106) Number of Openings: 2 Basic Qualifications: • Training will be provided on site • Completion of high school education • Accountable, pleasant and is able to take initiative • Possess knowledge and prior experience cooking in kitchen • Able to read and follow safety instructions • Good organization, and problem-solving skill • A good team player • Flexible to work in various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours Job Descriptions: • Work in the production of vegetable, meat, and produce related foods and products • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout facility • Work manually and with powered equipment for production and transport • Measure, weigh, combine, and mix ingredients to create finished product • Feed and unload processing and packaging machines • Package finished products • Ensure food production guidelines, hygiene, and good practices are followed • Clean work areas and equipment • Check for quality defects and assist quality control operators • Other duties as assigned Hourly Salary: $21 per hour with 2 weeks of annual vacation Work Hours: 30 to 40 hrs/week Website: http://www. http://deltasonfoods.com By email to careerdeltasontrading@gmail.com or in person at 2651 Viscount Way, Richmond, BC, V6V 2G8 Tel: 604-216-0780
