The Comfort Inn® Dartmouth is one of the top hotels in the Dartmouth, NS area for both business and leisure travelers in need of restful accommodations by points of interest like Mic Mac Mall, Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Our hotel is dedicated to providing guests with clean, hygienic accommodations, so you can enjoy peace of mind during your stay. Currently, we would like to hire 1 experienced Hotel assistant manager to join our hotel.  Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations Recruit and hire staff Supervise staff Conduct performance reviews Conduct training sessions Implement marketing activities Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities Address customers' complaints or concerns Assist clients/guests with special needs Establish work schedules Manage events Organize and maintain inventory Education requirement: College degree Language: English Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience Salary: $33/hour for full time Supervision: 16-20 people Transportation/travel information: Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Benefits: Free parking available Other benefits Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Team building opportunities Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
