Company operating name: Quest Disposal Business address: 6906 66 Avenue, Vegreville, AB T9C 1R1 Location of work: 6906 66 Avenue, Vegreville, AB Title of position: Truck-trailer Repairer Positions available: 1 Job duties: - Perform repair work on truck-trailer and waste disposal components, including the frame, chassis, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical systems - Replace mechanical and electrical units or components according to manufacturer specifications - Test repaired and replaced components to ensure they are suitable for safe operation - Keep records of work performed for follow-up, as necessary - Clean workspace and keep shop area free of debris and trash Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent position for approximately 40 hours per week; evening and weekend shifts (during truck down-time) Wage: $35.00/hour Benefits: Dental coverage, vision coverage, extended health care benefits available to all employees after probationary period of three months. Completion of vocational training programs or apprenticeship training in automotive or mechanical repair (or similar programs) may substitute for required work experience. Work experience required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in truck-trailer repair or servicing, or related positions, is required for the position. Language requirement: Fluent communication in English is required for the position.
