Sushi Bay Japanese Cuisine is located in Bridgwater, Nova Scotia. We use the freshest local ingredients to craft authentic sushi, sashimi, and more. We would like to hire one experienced Cook to join the team as soon as possible. Tasks: Determine the size of food portions and costs. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Prepare and cook complete Japanese style meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Experience and specialization: At least 2 years of cook experience. Sushi preparation techniques are preferred.
