Job Description
Lanie is looking for a full time temporary Home Child Care Provider NOC44100 for a child with special needs, in a private home during employment. Salary $20 per hour. Located at Antrim, Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5J 5K1 . Must have secondary education, related caregiving post secondary education or training is an asset. At least 1 year of Child Caregiver experience an asset due to child's special needs. Language at work is English. Duties include: Supervise and care for child, Take child to and from school and to appointments, Tend to emotional well-being of child, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision, Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Help child with homework, Cook, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens We encourage Indigenous persons, youth, and newcomers to apply.
