Job Description
Tasks: Design duct systems Manufacture and assemble in the factory the ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning and ventilation Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure and mark sheet metal according to template Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal Operate laser cutters Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification Supervise other workers Cut materials using power tools or by hand Fit and join sheet metal parts Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes Available position: 2 positions Language: Proficient in English or French Required skills: At least 3 years of relevant work experience Education Requirement: Other trades certificate or diploma Benefits: Free parking available Learning/training paid by employer Other benefits Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
