Job Description
A reliable CNC machining and a fabrication services provider is looking for the Machinist who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining both CNC and conventional machines to produce high-precision parts. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. - Compute dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. - Measure and lay out workpieces for machining and assembly. - Setup and adjust production machinery, tools, and CNC equipment. - Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerances. - Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) - Maintain inspection and production records. - Report deviations from specifications and tolerances. - Operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Qualifications: - 5+ years of machining experience. - Trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience. Technical Skills: • Mastercam CAD/CAM • CNC machine operation • CAD software • Experience with: automatic lathes, drill presses, milling machines, saws, tapping machines.
