hairdresser THE ALLEY HAIR STUDIO Job details • Location: Edmonton, ABT6B 2R2 • Work location: On site • Salary20.00 hourly / 30 hours per week • Terms of employment: Permanent employment: Full time • Starts as soon as possible • Vacancies: 1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 2 years to less than 3 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks • Advise clients on beauty care treatments • Analyze hair and scalp condition • Book appointments • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment • Shampoo customers' hair • Shave and trim beards and mustaches • Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair • Apply hair extensions • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences • Perform receptionist duties Experience and specialization Hair styling techniques • Blow drying • Hair braiding • Iron waving/curling • Extensions Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities • Repetitive tasks • Attention to detail • Hand-eye co-ordination Personal suitability • Client focus • Dependability • Efficient interpersonal skills • Flexibility • Reliability Who can apply for this job?
