Company Business Name: Gupta Financial Services Inc. o/a Gupta Financial Services Business Address: D2-120 Terence Matthews Cres, Kanata, ON K2M 0J1 Title of the Position: Bookkeeper Number of Positions Available: 1 Job Duties: • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments • Utilize accounting software and systems to manage and store financial data securely • Prepare and post journal entries including adjustments and corrections • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring that all accounts are current and accurately reflect the company’s financial position • Calculate and process payroll, including salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes • Prepare and submit tax remittance forms, including GST/HST, payroll deductions, and other required tax filings • Prepare and issue invoices to clients • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payments • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and properly recorded • Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Generate month-end and year-end closing processes and reports Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 30-40 hours of work per week Seasonal Position: No Language of Work: English Wage: $36.00 hourly Vacation: 4% Location of Work: D2-120 Terence Matthews Cres, Kanata, ON K2M 0J1 Contact Information: Please apply with a cover letter and resume to neeraj@guptafinancialservices.com Skill Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field OR completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) OR courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required. - 1+ years of relevant experience
