Yard Location: 1020 Wellings Rd, Suite 1, RM of Sherwood, SK, S4K 0A2 Work Setting: On the road (frequent/constant travel required) Salary: $33.60 per hour | 40 hours per week Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 6 Job Description D&G Logistics Inc. is currently seeking experienced Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes while maintaining safety, professionalism, and efficiency. Responsibilities • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment • Perform brake adjustments • Perform emergency roadside repairs • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle • Perform preventive maintenance • Receive and relay information to central dispatch • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Requirements • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year • Licences/Certifications: o AZ Class License o Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Work Conditions • Physically demanding role with large workload • Prolonged sitting while driving • Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs) How to Apply Interested applicants can apply by sending their resume and relevant documents to: hr@dglogistic.ca
