Job Title: Café Manager (NOC 60030) Company Overview: Kream is a Toronto-based Korean dessert café known for its unique desserts and specialty beverages. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Café Manager to oversee operations and ensure high-quality service as we continue to grow. Job Description / Main Duties: The Café Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of Kream’s Korean dessert café locations, ensuring compliance with Canadian standards and delivering excellent customer service. Duties include: • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the café, including opening/closing procedures, adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards, and smooth service delivery. • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures, including launching new dessert and beverage items aligned with market trends and customer demand. • Recruit staff and oversee training, scheduling, and ongoing performance evaluation to ensure effective team operations and compliance with company standards. • Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices as required to achieve financial targets, including POS sales analysis, inventory and cost control, and monthly performance reporting. • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high quality of service, maintaining positive customer relations and loyalty through membership and promotional programs. • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and beverage products, oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management across multiple locations, and optimize costs through coordinated purchasing. • Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities, including B2B sales, corporate/educational partnerships, festivals, and community collaborations to expand business opportunities. • Participate in marketing plans and advertising strategies, including seasonal promotions, local business collaborations, and digital marketing initiatives to grow sales and brand presence. • Plan, organize, and oversee new location openings, including staffing, training, and operational setup. • Ensure compliance with employment and HR practices, supporting staff retention and workplace standards.
