Job Description

Vacancy: 2 Permanent employment Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Early morning, Shift, Flexible hours, Night, On call, Day, Weekend Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Willing to relocate Tasks: Evaluate daily operations Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget Monitor staff performance Plan and organize daily operations Recruit staff Set staff work schedules Supervise staff Train staff Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Organize and maintain inventory Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Participate in marketing plans and implementation Address customers' complaints or concerns Provide customer service Manage events Supervision: More than 20 people Credentials (Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses): Responsible Beverage Service Certificate Experience and specialization: Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office Point of sale system Additional information: Security and safety: Criminal record check Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Large workload Personal suitability: Accurate Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Ability to multitask Benefits: Health benefits: Health care plan How to apply: By email: jobs.thegrandekitchen@gmail.com How-to-apply instructions: Here is what you must include in your application: Cover letter This job posting includes screening questions.
