Civic Logistics & Distribution Inc. is seeking seven skilled Truck Drivers to join our growing transportation team. The role involves both long-haul and short-haul trips across Canada. We are looking for safety-conscious, dependable, and hardworking individuals who can deliver goods efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba Wage: $30.16 per hour Vacancies: 7 Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Start date: As soon as possible Job Requirements Language: English Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate Experience: Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years Responsibilities: Mountain driving expertise Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Licence/Certification: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience & Specialization Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection reports, accident/incident reports, trip/maintenance reports. Equipment: Tractor-trailers and related transport equipment. Navigation Systems: GPS and electronic logging devices. Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Sitting for long periods; repetitive tasks. Must handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal Suitability: Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork. Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded. Ability to adapt to varying routes and schedules. Overtime required as per trip schedules.
