Job Title: Kitchen Helper (NOC 65201) Company: THE FLATS EATERY + DRINK Location: 930 Main St. N Moose Jaw SK S6H 3K7 Salary: $15.35/hour | 40 hours per week Employment Type: Permanent, full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 About the Role The Flats Eatery + Drink is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Moose Jaw, SK. This is a full-time, on-site position where you’ll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting food preparation. Responsibilities • Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware • Place dishes in storage area • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas • Package take-out food • Portion and wrap foods • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items • Stock refrigerators and salad bars • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas • Remove kitchen garbage and trash • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit Requirements • Language: English • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year preferred • Physical ability: Must be able to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Personal Suitability • Team player • Ability to multitask • Strong work ethic Work Schedule • Early mornings, mornings, evenings, nights, weekends (flexibility required) Who Can Apply Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. • Canadian citizens • Permanent residents • Valid work permit holders How to Apply By email: the.flatsmj@gmail.com
