Job Title: Cook (NOC 63200) Company: Western Pizza Downtown Location: 2125, 11th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X3 Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Salary: $16.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Work Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Job Overview: Western Pizza Downtown is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting overall kitchen operations. Responsibilities: • Determine the size of food portions and costs • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization • Requisition food and kitchen supplies • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Clean kitchen and work areas Qualifications: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook Additional Information • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure • Attention to detail, organized, reliable, and a team player Language: English Work Conditions: • On-site work only (no remote work option) • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods • May involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts Who Can Apply: We welcome applications from: • Canadian citizens and permanent residents • Temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit How to Apply: By Email: westernpizzadowntown@gmail.com
