Job Description

We are seeking a qualified live-in caregiver with experience in caring for elderly individuals with complex medical conditions. The role involves caring for two seniors: one with the onset of dementia and cancer, and the other with Parkinson's disease and congestive heart failure. The position requires the employee to live on-site. Room and board provided. Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 1 to less than 7 months Responsibilities/Tasks Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Mobility assistance. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk Feed or assist in feeding Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Plan therapeutic diets and menus Provide companionship Provide personal care Prepare and serve nutritious meals Cook Perform other duties related to personal care Provide health, fitness and related support services Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience Elderly Females Males Persons with a disability Persons with physical disabilities Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Weight handling Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs) Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Flexibility Initiative Judgement Organized Reliability Patience Honesty
