Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Personal Support Aide - Home Aide to support a senior individual with daily living activities in a respectful home environment. The ideal candidate will provide personal care, promote independence, and ensure the senior comfort, dignity, and overall well-being through attentive and professional support. Job Duties: • Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs. • Administer medications per prescribed instructions. • Monitor and report on physical and emotional well-being. • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. • Provide companionship and emotional support. • Accompany the senior to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as needed. • Provide support during swimming and pool activities, and assist with routine exercises such as walking. Qualifications: • Completed high school or have equivalent experience • Experience in personal care or elder support is preferred • CPR and First Aid certificates are an asset • Basic knowledge of how to give medications safely • Familiar with home care routines in private homes • Able to work independently and handle different caregiving tasks • Must be patient, honest, reliable, flexible, and organized
