Address: Kelowna, BC NOC Group: Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (NOC65201) NOC Job Title: Kitchen Helper Positions available (1) Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent Language required: English Expected start date: as soon as possible Wage and benefits: -$18.00 /hourly -10 days of paid holiday -40 hours per week Mr. Lu’s Kitchen Inc. is a popular local spot known for authentic Chinese cuisine in Kelowna. We focus on delivering delicious, comforting dishes made with fresh ingredients. We are currently looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our busy team and help keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently. No prior experience is necessary — if you have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, we provide full training. To succeed in this role, you should be a reliable team player and available during our opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Job Responsibilities: • Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances • Bring clean dishes and other items to serving areas and set tables • Prepare, heat and finish simple food items • Package take-out food and beverage • Remove kitchen garbage and trash • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators and other storage areas • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff Skills & Employment requirements: • Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required. • On-the-job training is provided • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Available to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as required How to apply: By email: mr.lukitchen888@gmail.com We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of gender and ethnicity, as well as applications from underrepresented groups (aboriginal peoples, youth, older workers, persons with disabilities and recent immigrants).
