Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Aide to provide essential care and assistance to a senior individual. In this role, you will support daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the senior’s overall well-being in a respectful and dignified manner. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed • Administer medications in accordance with prescribed instructions • Provide emotional support and companionship • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment • Monitor and support the senior’s physical and emotional needs • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care • Accompany the senior to appointments or outings when required Requirements: • Previous experience in senior care, personal support, or a related field preferred • Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certification considered an asset • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and attentive care • Familiarity with home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable with a range of caregiving duties and responsibilities • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect personal privacy
