Job Description

Monarch Glazing Atlantic Ltd. is currently hiring two General Labourer (Glazier helper) to support the removal and installation of windows and doors on commercial buildings. This role involves assisting glaziers and other tradespersons at active job sites. Main Duties Include: • Assist glaziers in the removal and installation of commercial windows and doors • Load and unload construction materials and move them to appropriate work areas • Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and other structures as needed at construction sites • Use hand and power tools safely to support installation activities • Remove rubble and debris from work areas and maintain site cleanliness • Operate basic equipment such as pneumatic tools, compressors, or pumps as directed • Follow instructions to carry out other general construction-related tasks • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including working at heights Requirements: • Minimum high school graduation • Previous similar work experience as an asset • Comfortable working at heights and preferably hold a valid Fall Protection Certificate, or willing to obtain one through company-provided training • Familiarity with the safe use and handling of construction hand tools • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team • Must have reliable transportation to access various job sites This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with hourly rates starting at $20.00-$27.00 depending on skills and experience.
