Job Description
The Jugo Juice location in northwest Calgary, AB is seeking a permanent full-time Food Service Supervisor to join its staff. This position is available to be filled immediately. Specific duties include: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food & beverages to customers Maintain stock of ingredients and supplies required for food & beverage preparation Keep records of stock, sales and wastage Train staff in job duties, health, sanitation and safety procedures Supervise and check assembly of regular and special dietary orders, and delivery of orders to customers Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards May participate in the selection of service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets Planning menus and determine related food and labour costs Specific Requirements of the Job include: Ability to work well in a fast paced environment, under time pressure Standing for long periods of time during their shift; meet the physical demands of typical restaurant work (lifting boxes, carrying food orders, dishes and other items) Be capable of interacting with customers in English Have good knowledge of Jugo Juice menus Be capable of addressing customer concerns or complaints in a reasonable manner Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, client focus, and good oral communication with customers and fellow staff members Education and Experience Required: Secondary School Graduation Certificate required 1-2 years of previous experience as a Food Service Supervisor The selected candidate must have their own mode of transportation to & from work (public transportation available) and shall be required to provide a clean Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of work.
