Ensuring all ingredients used are kosher-certified. Preparing and cooking meals according to kosher dietary laws (kashrut). Ensuring the separation of meat and dairy products, utensils, and equipment. Adhering to kosher guidelines for food preparation, storage, and serving. Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets kosher and health standards. Properly labelling and storing kosher ingredients and prepared foods. Preparing and presenting food that meets quality, kosher, and presentation standards. Working with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient kosher food preparation. Informing supervisors of any kosher-related concerns or issues. Ensuring the kitchen and food preparation processes meet kosher certification requirements. Adhering to kosher laws and regulations in food preparation and service.
