Employer: Golden Home Caregivers Corporation Position: Patient Care Aide Pay Rate: $24/hour ; 35 hours / week # Of positions: 2 Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years (Or equivalent Experience) Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting: Various Locations; Work in employer’s/client’s home Location: Calgary AB Job Responsibilities: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Serve meal trays and feed patients Weigh, lift, turn and position patients Make beds and maintain patients' rooms Supervise patients' exercise routines Bathe, dress and groom patients Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher Collect specimens Administer first aid in emergency situations Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Manual dexterity Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Standing for extended periods Combination of sitting, standing, walking Bending, crouching, kneeling Walking Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal Suitability: Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Patience How to Apply: By Email at: alfredo.clado@goldenhomecaregivers.ca
