TRANSLINK SHIPPING (Canada), INC.(hereafter referred to as "TRANSLINK") is a NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) established upon the approval of Ministry of Commerce and registered and recorded in Ministry of Communications, with the scope of business as undertaking and offering the integrated all-sided services including shipping (full container and groupage), air freight, air-bridge service and personal effects etc., which is expanding and growing along with the constant opening-up of relevant nation policies. The Position: We are looking for a Sales General Manager to develop company’s core business and lead our team to manage the day to day operation. This position in charge of the Translink Shipping Richmond location and works closely with all other functional roles as part of the senior management team. It is a challenging and fast-paced position that holds many learning and development opportunities as part of the Supply Chain network. This position will be based in our facility in Richmond, BC. Job Details - Position: Sales General Manager - Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent, 30-40hrs per week - Current Base Salary: 74400-$86800 Overtime rate 1.5 times of the base rate over 40 hours per week - Bonus: Based on performance - Day off & Vacation: Weekend & 10 Days per year. - Benefits: Extended Health Benefits - Expected Start Date: 2025-02-15 Duties and Responsibilities: - Representing the company leading the business development of Vancouver/ West Coast Area. - Overseeing existing west coast region client profiles, lead the team to develop potential clients, and provide solutions for all west coast region inquiries - Responsible for all west coast region order-related issues, and effectively provide guidance and communication to sales team, dispatching team, financials, administration departments. - Processing and approving all west coast client orders and oversee the entire process of sales/admin team. - Authorizing instructions and standard operation procedures to operation/marketing team for each single importer. - Coordinating between the Richmond location and headquarter on sale target, staffing and blueprint. - Establishing Sale objectives for the company. - Assisting the general manager in staffing and select sales and marketing positions. - Managing the whole west coast area marketing and sales team.
