Chef at SIP'N'DINE Location - 1995 Brunswick St Halifax, NSB3J 2G9 Salary - 29.00 hourly / 30 hours per week Vacancies- 1 Vacancy Terms of employment- Permanent employment, Full time Start date- As soon as possible. Job Requirements Languages- English Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience- 2 years to less than 3 years On site- Work must be completed at the physical location Tasks o Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items o Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory o Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff o Create new recipes o Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food o Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff o Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions o Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants o Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards o Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food How to apply By email - jobsatsipndine@gmail.com
