Job Description
Deacon Family is looking for a Personal Aide, who is able to take care of their special need adult daughter aged 29 years. As a Personal Aide, you will be responsible for the following duties: - Provide care and companionship - Administer personal care such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and dressing - Plan, prepare and feed meals - Other routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of a nurse, if required - Minor housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning her equipment - Taking her to and from places, as needed - Other related duties as directed by the parents Educational Requirement: Completion of secondary school Certification: First Aid Certificate Work Experience: 1-6 months of previous related work experience. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform this job.
