Location: 500 main street Montague, PE C0A 1R0 Salary: $29.00 per hour Vacancy: 1 Start date: As soon as possible Workplace Information: On site Employment groups: Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Veterans, Visible minorities, Youth Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours per week Employment condition: Day, Evening, Morning Job Requirements: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks: - Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of front-of-house staff and kitchen helpers to ensure smooth and efficient service during all shifts. - Monitor food preparation and service to ensure consistent quality, portion control, and adherence to health and safety standards. - Train new staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, company policies, and customer service expectations. - Assist in the planning and execution of shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours. - Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. - Maintain inventory and ensure stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies are sufficient; submit requisitions when necessary. - Ensure cleanliness and organization in dining and food preparation areas, in compliance with provincial health regulations. - Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant, including cash handling, shift reporting, and ensuring all operational checklists are completed. - Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to improve efficiency, suggest process improvements, and support daily operations. - Support the Restaurant Owner in performance monitoring, internal communications, and adherence to operational standards.
