Responsibilities: Prepare doughs and batters for pies, breads, biscuits, brioche, cookies, and cakes. Prepare frostings, glazes, and ganache for specialty cakes and pies per customer requests. Bake mixed doughs and batters to perfection, ensuring consistent quality. Frost and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods with creativity and precision. Prepare dough for pie crusts and traditional French and Canadian pastries. Operate bakery equipment, including commercial mixers, dough sheeters, ovens, and dishwashers. Weigh, scale, and mix ingredients according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all products meet company quality and presentation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate effectively as part of a team and work independently when needed. Manage time efficiently to meet production schedules. Qualifications: Experience with classic and specialty pastries, including macarons, éclairs, sponge cake, tiramisu, cheesecakes, pies, tarts, turnovers, chocolate tempering, Black Forest cake, carrot cake, and opera cake. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Reliable transportation to and from work.
