Location: 3999 Airport Road Merritt, BC, V1K 1R2 Salary: $29.00 per hour Vacancy: 1 Start date: As soon as possible Employment groups: Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Veterans, Visible minorities, Youth Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours per week Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Morning Job requirement: Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks: - Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment - Act as spokesperson for an organization - Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies - Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material - Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes - Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs - Gather, research and prepare communications material - Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases - Design market research questionnaires - Develop portfolio of marketing materials - Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Organized, Team player Who can apply to this job?
